Come help us make a difference for local families. We are seeking 50 volunteers to dedicate time to assembling 1000 Thanksgiving Household Essential Bags.
The bags we will be assembling include paper products, such as toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues and sanitizing wipes.
Through our Strong Neighborhoods, Strong Families Initiative we will help host Thanksgiving Family Engagement events at 3 of our partner schools: Gibbs Elementary – Canton, Franklin Elementary – Massillon, and Alliance Preschool – Alliance. The community of families along with enrolled students will come together for festive, holiday themed events. Families at the different school buildings will receive one of the bags that we assemble, immediately before Thanksgiving Break.
By providing frequently used paper products to the families during the holiday season, families can free up financial resources for groceries, utilities, medicines, and other household needs.
