We will be installing a native plant wildlife habitat. This will increase access to green spaces at our school, provide opportunities for students, families and community members to connect with nature, and ultimately help support and sustain local wildlife.
This first phase of the project involves installing a small plant bed, two cedar raised bed sensory gardens, bird feeders, a rain barrel, a seating area, several signs designating specific outdoor locations, and a welcome station.
By developing the site in phases, students, families and members of the community will have a opportunity to watch, help and celebrate as the habitat grows and thrives.
