To create an outdoor learning environment within the school facility within Van Wert Middle School's courtyard. Our request is to beautify the courtyard and making it a place for learning opportunities, with tables to do so. Currently, there is only one bench in the courtyard, therefore not able to be used for classroom usage. Having additional seating to accommodate students would be greatly beneficial to the middle school.
Global Youth Service Day
Established in 1988, Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) celebrates and mobilizes the millions of young people who improve their communities through service. GYSD is the largest service event in the world and the only one dedicated to the contributions that children and youth make 365 days of the year.
