On January 17th, the OneEighty staff will host a Hybrid/Zoom program on Victim Services. The event will begin by creating a Survival Bag and end with a presentation on OneEighty’s Victim services. 50 Survivor Bags with a personalized note will be assembled by a small number of volunteers. The 50 bags will be used by OneEighty Victim Services, Wooster Community Hospital, Aultman Orrville Hospital, and Joel Pomerene Hospital.
Following the assembling of the survivor bags a zoom presentation will take place on OneEighty’s Victim Services. The Zoom Live presentation will be open to the public and will be posted on OneEighty’s social media platforms and website. Topics that will be covered during the Zoom presentation: What is the Sexual Response Assault Team (SART), What is a Survivor Bag and what does each item do? Who are Hospital Advocates? How do I become a Hospital Advocate? The onsite volunteers will be assembling bags purchased with the items listed above using the grant funding.
