Join us on Saturday, June 19th, from 9 AM-4 PM to build a new shed and to complete other garden projects at the Eastside Community Garden! No carpentry or gardening experience necessary. Please pack a lunch, wear close-toed shoes, and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. We will take a break for lunch from noon-1 PM. Snacks will be provided.
Directions to the garden: located off East State St, next to the city dog park. Turn at the light at E Park Dr (at the CVS store, NOT Community Center Dr) and follow that road all the way back, it winds around and dead ends into the dog park parking lot and you will see the Community Garden off to the left. (Note that this is NOT the “Children’s Garden” which is located directly behind the Community Center next to the skate park).
