Participants get a grip on nature by trying out bouldering (low-level climbing) in this open format program. Volunteers may assist with directing and assisting people to bouldering area, managing lightweight equipment, light brush removal, and safety-spotting climbers. Majority of the bouldering area is rough and loose rocky terrain. Ability to crouch, bend, and climb up and down 5’ rock faces is necessary. Training provided before the program. Meet behind large tan house at Sawyer Quarry Preserve, 26940 Lime City Road, Perrysburg. Program duration 5:00 – 7:00pm. Volunteer shift 4:45 – 7:15pm.
