The 29th annual Folklore & Funfest will be Saturday, October 19 from 4 - 9 pm and is a great time for the whole community. Parking, entrance and all activities are free. We need volunteers to help us provide this event to the community. Thank you, Volunteers! A meal voucher is provided. Volunteers are encouraged to dress in a family-friendly Halloween Costume.

Volunteer Shifts are 3:30 - 6:45 pm, OR 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Volunteer Stations:
Welcome Booth - Greet guests, provide a reusable bag, handout Folklore Bingo/scavenger hunt, operate Plinko for candy and prizes, and help volunteers check-in. Click the number of guests who arrive.
Nocturnal Nature - Interpret our nocturnal wildlife through furs, taxidermy, and fact sheets
Spooky Trail - Greet guests who start the trail, provide glow sticks, stay warm by the fire
Popcorn - Pop popcorn in our large popcorn maker. Popcorn is provided to all free of charge.
Apple Cider Pressing - Help Create fresh apple cider and pour them a sample. Interpret the equipment and help guests press their own.
Games in Booville - We have 10 games for kids in Booville. This is a really fun station for families.
Coffin Café- Food service at the cafe helps offset the costs of the event. These are important roles.
Crafts - We have several fun fall crafts to create. Help kids with materials and instructions. This is a sit-down position under a tent.
Face Painting - practice your artistic skills on kids' faces. :)
S'mores - Assist people with s'mores ingredients and assembly. The second position helps tend to the roasting fire.
