Join the SE Ohio Foodbank as a Healthy Harvest Corps AmeriCorps Member and help improve health and food access across Southeast Ohio. You'll be part of an innovative "Food as Medicine" initiative that connects neighbors with nutritious food, healthcare, and community resources while making a lasting impact.
We're recruiting two AmeriCorps Members to serve in Logan, Ohio. As a member, you might:
- Build partnerships with healthcare providers and connect community members to food and social services.
- Support the FoodRx medically supportive grocery box program by coordinating nutritious food distribution.
- Engage with neighbors through mobile markets, school pantries, and community outreach events.
- Promote healthy food choices using Healthy Eating Research (HER) Guidelines.
By joining, you'll gain valuable experience in public health, nutrition, community engagement, and nonprofit operations while helping create healthier communities across Southeast Ohio.
