Tasks Can Include:
- Help with scheduled childcare (i.e) playing games, helping with homework
- Volunteers will begin day with Resident Care Specialists (for weekend shifts)
- Volunteers will begin day with Assistant Director of Advocacy (for weekday shift)
- Scheduled childcare will be made/approved by Resident Care Specialists
- Parents will be in building at all times in case volunteers have any questions or concerns
- Volunteers are not responsible for providing diaper care, managing personal hygiene needs for children, or feeding children
- Volunteers working with clients will have to complete a background check with Geauga County Sheriffs' office in Burton, Ohio
- Volunteers will have to schedule a Volunteer Orientation with the Volunteer Coordinator & will receive a Volunteer Handbook
