Who We Are
The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center (FELC) is a hands-on environmental education center and a demonstration facility designed to promote an appreciation and understanding of our relationship with the natural world and to encourage, support, and demonstrate sustainable living practices.
What We Do
FELC provides hands-on environmental education to youth and adults through summer camps, field trips, Science Days, and Adult Education series. We also operate a small, chemical-free farm that employs adults with developmental disabilities. We have a trail system through our campus connected to wooded area. We are a leader in sustainability and connected our community to creation.
