Flying Horse Farms

Who We Are

Flying Horse Farms provides medically-safe camp experiences for kids with serious illnesses to find hope, joy, and belonging—always at no cost. Vision: For every kid with a serious illness to go to camp. Since 2012, FHF has provided over 12,000 cost-free, medically supported camp experiences where kids can simply be kids, regardless of their medical complexity.

What We Do

Through residential camp and family camp sessions, children who have been diagnosed with heart conditions, cancer and bleeding disorders, gastrointestinal conditions, pulmonary conditions, juvenile arthritis, craniofacial conditions, mental health conditions and various rare diseases can safely experience quality camp programming. FHF camp experiences are free of charge to campers and their families, without regard to background or circumstance. FHF strives to increase opportunities by having engagement strategies specifically aimed at increasing representation within underserved populations. An FHF camp experience provides opportunities for children with serious illnesses to attend camp who would otherwise not be able to due to a variety of factors. Camp outcomes include development of positive self-identity, finding a sense of belonging and developing a sense of adventure. These outcomes combine to provide campers with confidence and skills to navigate new environments and life situations.
