Who We Are
The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio (KFNWO) is a local nonprofit that has been assisting people with chronic kidney disease since 1966. We are 100% donor-supported, and all funds raised remain in our 20-county service area. We provide information and support to all kidney patients and financial assistance to those on dialysis.
With our current strategic plan, our emphasis has shifted to include education and prevention of chronic kidney disease, particularly in underserved communities. This includes support groups, education classes, and community health screenings.
What We Do
Provide financial assistance to those on dialysis, free mobile health screenings, support groups, manage a chronic kidney disease management class, health presentations, and advocate for becoming a kidney donor.
