Who We Are

WHO WE ARE Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Markets’ (CVFM) works to provide access to and education about sustainable foods and agriculture to the communities in Northeast Ohio by building connections between our community with the producers of locally grown food. CVFM was established in 2022 to continue the operation of the long-running Countryside farmers markets in Howe Meadow and at Old Trail School, both located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. These vibrant farmers markets have been in operation since 2004 and have been growing steadily since their inception.

What We Do

Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Markets’ (CVFM) CVFM MARKET IMPACT: During our Summer market in Howe Meadow (May-October) we connect on average 1,500 (peak 2,800) members of our community to producers of local food During our Winter market at Old Trail School (November-April) we have on average 500 shoppers per market (peak 1,000) Provide consistent sales outlet for 60 local farms and businesses Annually connect over 500 families with access to fresh, local food using SNAP/EBT, Produce Perks and WIC benefits Generated over $1,140,000 in revenue for local farms, food businesses, and makers in our community
