Who We Are
The Men and Women of Central (MWC) is a resident led nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization, MWC was formed as a grassroots organization by Jerome Baker in 2006. The organization was created to increase the presence of positive adult role models in the lives of youth living in the Central community in Cleveland, Ohio. Mission We create a vibrant Central neighborhood by facilitating programs through community partnerships and collaboration. Vision Central is a healthy community where residents have the resources that will help improve their lives.
What We Do
Men and Women of Central (MWC) is passionate about helping Central residents improve and transform their lives. In addition to providing youth services, we engage with residents to understand their short and long-term needs. We help residents fulfill their needs by hosting community events and connecting them to resources. Men and Women of Central (MWC) values and understands the importance of partnerships and collaboration. MWC builds and leverages relationships with community partners to bring resources into the community.
