Tenderfoot Learning Lab

We educate learners of all ages and backgrounds to live and work sustainably, with the social, economic, and environmental well-being of their communities in mind. We believe experience is the best, most empowering teacher, and our programs are very hands-on. Trying new things can be a vulnerable place, so we consider it mission-critical to create a welcoming, supportive, inclusive environment.

Through short-term and residential programs, we help participants build sustainable goals, habits, and skills. We offer spring break and summer internship opportunities for college students, Eco Retreats for the general public, nature-themed festivals, and various skills-based workshops. We have an annual calendar of repeating programs, and we develop custom programs with partners by request.
