The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a non-profit 501 c 3 religious and charitable organization helping those in need without discrimination in Lima and Allen County since 1902.

The Salvation Army provides a variety of programs and services that strive to meet human needs in Lima and Allen County, Ohio. Services include Emergency Assistance, help with food, rent, and utilities. Student Food Pantry available while school is in session, Sunday Community Feeding Program, Christmas Assistance provides toys, food, and clothing to more than 700 families annually, Coat Give-A-Way, Afterschool programming for students K – 12 grade provides recreation, social, and educational programs, and a hot meal. Summer Day Camp provides fun recreational and craft activities., Reginal Summer Camp, Back to School Celebration, a collaboration effort with Lima City Schools provides school supplies, Finally, The Salvation Army is always ready to mobilize and help with Disaster Relief.
