Adaptive Sports Ohio

Mission: At Adaptive Sports Ohio, we remove barriers to ensure that individuals with physical disabilities have a chance to play, and utilize sport to elevate ability and empower futures. Vision: Our vision is to be the premier adaptive sports organization providing local access for adaptive sports to all individuals with physical and visual disabilities in the State of Ohio and to promote excellence in the lives of the people we serve.

Adaptive Sports Ohio purchases, retains, services and makes available for use, adaptive equipment that enables individuals with physical disabilities to participate in sports that are similar to their able-bodied peers. All equipment owned by Adaptive Sports Ohio is inventoried and tracked, and eligible participants are required to sign an equipment release agreement to borrow equipment. These programs serve unmet needs, not provided by school districts or Special Olympics.
