Catholic Social Services (CSS) is the sponsor site for the Senior Companion Program in Franklin and Delaware County. CSS is an anti-poverty agency whose goal is to empower people in need—regardless of background—with the tools they need to reach their full potential.

Through the Senior Companion Program, an income-eligible senior can become a Senior Companion by volunteering to visit a few seniors for at least 15 hours a week. Senior Companion Volunteers enjoy the comradery of fellowship with other Senior Companions at monthly trainings, called in-services, receive a stipend for their time, and expense reimbursement in some counties.
