Community Roots

We are a nonprofit charity working to restore the historical horticultural use to abandoned greenhouses and fields, while also developing agricultural and land stewardship programs. We want to help people Eat Better, Feel Better, and Do Better

Community Roots exists to partner with entities across Knox County to: Reduce recidivism by helping citizens develop skills necessary for positive community contributions; Offer respite and therapeutic programming in our natural green spaces for community members of all ages; Supplement local agricultural and STEM education
