Salem Lutheran Church

We are a mission site of the Northwestern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are not interested in gaining converts, but rather, we exist to serve our neighbors in our area of North Toledo. We do this through serving food, working on reading with young people, holding season events for our community, such as during Halloween and Thanksgiving, and in the summer, we serve as a place for employment with teenagers, often focusing on the environment, such as building rain barrel systems, putting in gardens, and building a small park together. We work with people of various faiths and no faith as equal friends, and do not discriminate based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religious/non-religious beliefs. We insist on respect for all.
