About Us:
At Care360 Hospice, we are dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to our patients and their families. Our team of healthcare professionals and volunteers work together to offer comfort, dignity, and support during this important phase of life.

Position Summary:
We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers, with a variety of opportunities to serve as a patient companion, caregiver supporter, bereavement volunteer, or administrative volunteer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Visit hospice patients regularly, providing companionship and emotional support.
- Engage in conversations, listen to caregiver's stories, and offer moments of respite so that a caregiver can run small errands.
- Participate in activities that support the bereavement program, from placing phone calls to assisting with mailings.
- Assist with tasks that support the administrative running of the company, such as filing, answering phones, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of each patient and family.
- Communicate regularly with hospice staff.

Qualifications:
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to provide non-judgmental, supportive companionship.
- Reliability and commitment to regular volunteer visits.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or volunteer role is a plus, but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Completion of a background check and volunteer training program provided by Care360 Hospice, the expenses of which are covered by our agency.
