Role Description This role requires the volunteer to be physically present at the facility for 1 day a week Monday-Wednesday (between 8am to 4pm) for 2 hours or more if available. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is studying to become a teacher and/or enjoys working with children. As a childcare assistant you will supervise, distribute snacks, and help with light cleaning. The children also need help catching up with homework. Training/orientation will be done virtually. The volunteer will mainly be assisting with general office duties 2 or 3 days a week. This opportunity is appropriate for someone who is willing to work in a startup environment, help with process improvement, and is open to the challenges of a small nonprofit. Some of the work may be done virtually, but the volunteer must be willing to go into the office in Grove City, Ohio to pick up files. The position requires a 3 month commitment. Responsibilities Filing Responding to emails Manage Outlook calendar Basic research Create and maintain documents Running errands (local area) Additional ad hoc administrative tasksSkills Strong organization and time-management skills Maintains a high level of professionalism Detail-oriented Proactive and takes initiative in making things happen Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software Knowledge of Google Workspace a plus but not required
