Seeking service-oriented people to provide elementary level tutoring for K-5 students in the Dayton area as a Member of Ohio Reading and Math Corps Work with students who are below-proficient in reading or math (based on your preference and school availability) for their grade level. Receive training to prepare you to be an effective tutor, plus ongoing support throughout the school year Members are assigned to one school for the school year (following training and going through May). Members will provide tutoring to a set list of students in small groups or in 1:1 settings. This is a great way to give back to the community, help students, and get your foot in the door if interested in obtaining a job in a school district.

This is a service position with AmeriCorps, requiring 30 hours/week following the school schedule. Typical schedule is M-F, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. High school diploma required. No maximum age limit.
