Mark your calendars for Saturday October 14th: this will be our work day to transition Emily's Garden into its phase II layout (if curious, see attached photo for the lovely design by Gayle Frazer).
- WHEN: 9am start with Starlight Donut Lab donuts, coffee and a 15-minute talk about gardening plans for the 2024 growing season.
- WHAT: then we get busy moving boundary rocks, moving our cherry benches, tending winter rye, terminating fall buckwheat, pulling vines, collecting leaves from Hunter Ave residents for composting, one final vegetable harvest, and disassembling our Hugelkultur bed. Bottled water will be provided.
