Kingwood Hall is open from 10am-6pm every day of the week for our Guests to enjoy. On Thursdays April-October, Kingwood Hall will remain open until 8pm for our extended hours.
Volunteer shifts are:
- 10:00am-2:00pm
- 2:00pm-6:00pm
- 6:00pm-8:00pm (Select Thursdays Only)
Duties: The Host/Hostess Volunteer will greet all Guests who visit Kingwood Hall. They will also share a bit of historical information based on the interest level of Guests. Volunteers will also assist Guests when using the elevator.
All historical information is available in the Kingwood Hall Volunteer binder. Volunteers will also complete the Daily Host Log Sheet, to obtain a tally of Guests and a summary of the weather and events for that day. Extra sheets are available in the Volunteer binder.
Qualifications: Please attend a Host/Hostess Training session before volunteering in this role.
