Healthy Harvest Corps Summer- Cleveland

AmeriCorps Members will support healthy food access & nutrition education initiatives serving the Cleveland community. Members will lead interactive, youth-friendly culinary demonstrations featuring fresh, seasonal produce available through our garden & local food system partners. Members will research and develop weekly nutrition themes aligned with seasonal produce availability; create and test simple, culturally relevant recipes that families can prepare at home; and facilitate engaging healthy-eating demonstrations for youth and families. They will also participate in garden operations, including planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting. Conduct educational garden tours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with youth and community members, & supporting equitable access to healthy foods.
