We are in need of volunteers to help with sorting small donations at our new location on 1217 N Memorial Dr. Household goods and linens will be packaged for families seen through the Furniture Bank side. Furniture and other items that we sell on the thrift store side represent only a small part that are donated to us overall. These are often larger items of furniture than the new homes our clients have moved into can accommodate (sectional couches, exercise equipment, entertainment centers, décor and art pieces, etc.). All the sales are rolled back into our mission to serve families in need. All other donations are given directly to the families we serve.
Here’s how we’re keeping volunteers safe:
Masks are required for staff, volunteers, and customers regardless of vaccination status. Social distancing is in place. Volunteer areas and frequently touched areas are disinfected regularly. Masks and gloves can be provided to volunteers who do not bring their own. The Furniture Bank and Furniture with a Heart are climate controlled.
