Pieces of Kindness is a community project dedicated to raising awareness, understanding, and acceptance of individuals with autism. By engaging students and community members in creative and educational activities, the project aims to foster inclusivity and empathy while celebrating the strengths and diversity of neurodivergent individuals.
The project features two main activities:
Art Installation: Kindergarten students and volunteers will decorate large puzzle pieces, symbolizing unity and diversity, which will be assembled into a public art display to promote autism awareness.
Kindness Rocks: Participants will paint rocks with positive messages and place them in community spaces to spread kindness and raise awareness about autism.
Adult volunteers will be on hand to guide and support students as they complete their projects. Together, we’re building a more compassionate and understanding community — one piece of kindness at a time.
