Each session highlights a fruit or vegetable, explains its nutritional benefits, and encourages youth to try new foods. Feedback from parents and participants is collected to strengthen programming and increase participation. The member also supports daily operations of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), including tracking attendance and meal counts, distributing meals, promoting fruit and vegetable consumption, and ensuring proper cleanup. Enrichment activities are provided after meals and through social media to encourage active play and continued learning.
