Are you handy and willing to lend your neighbor a hand?

Village in the Ville is currently looking for handypersons willing to help the aging-population of Clintonville, Beechwold, and the University District with minor home repair and maintenance. Help our Village members fix furniture, appliances, and the like. Or help them with minor home projects, like turning mattresses, changing lightbulbs, and the like.

To help, all you need to do is:

So many of our volunteers develop relationships with our Village members, to the point that they're no longer providing a service but catching-up, hanging out, and just spending time with their friends.

Volunteer: Lend A Neighbor A Ride!

Give a member of Clintonville's aging-population a ride to a medical appointment, trip to the grocery store, or social event. Help them run errands, like picking up prescriptions or returning library books.

Here's all that's needed:

A Valid Driver's License Proof of Driver's Insurance Must Be At Least 25

And if anything happens, we've got you covered. You'll be protected under our insurance as well. For that, we'll just need:

A Copy of Your Driver's License A Copy of the Front Disbursement Page of Your Insurance Coverage The Last Four Digits of Your Social Security Number Your Date of Birth

You'll also be reimbursed $0.56 for every mile you drive. Or, if you'd prefer, we have our own vehicles that you can use!

With this experience, you're not just giving a ride, you're gaining a friend.
