Volunteer: AmeriCorps Peer Reviewer

Volunteer Reviewers will log-in to a virtual one-hour orientation webinar to review the application instructions and process. Reviewers must sign and submit a Conflict of Interest statement.  Reviewers will then independently review their assigned proposals.  Finally, reviewers will log-in to the scheduled virtual team conference call for a facilitated discussion of their assigned proposals.  All application materials must either be destroyed or returned to ServeOhio.


Reviewers should plan to commit between 8 - 15 total hours to the review process as follows:
• Orientation Call: Video call discussing the application process and evaluation criteria – 1 hour.
• Independent Review: Reading and feedback submission on 3 to 6 proposals – 6 to 12 hours.
• Virtual team Meeting: Group discussion – 1 - 2 hours, depending on the discussion and total number of applications to review.
