Who We Are

Mercy Mission House (MMH) is an emergency shelter serving men, women and children. Our family program is one of a few that allow the family to stay intact as they work through the program. MMH's vision is to create a community where everyone has a place to call home and the opportunity to be self-sufficient.

What We Do

Mercy Mission House is more than a safe place to sleep. Our resident program helps people experiencing homelessness by supporting them with services to get through the various phases and back in charge of their life. The phases include: Phase 1: Provide basic human rights of shelter, food, water, and clothing. Phase 2: Stabilization begins with assessing needs: identification, mental health or substance misuse services Phase 3: Help residents access stable income from employment, SSI or SSDI. Phase 4: Referrals are made to Bridges Community Action, Rapid Re-Housing of Ohio for Families, or Community Housing Temporary Rental Assistance program for rent assistance. Phase 5: Permanent housing is found (apartment, reunification with family/friends)
