South Street Ministries

Mission—South Street Ministries equips and inspires the restoration of community, economy, and faith. Vision—South Street Ministries aspires to empower authentic community voice, leadership, and transformation within the South Akron, Summit Lake, and Reentry communities.

South Street Ministries has been involved in Community Development work for over 26 years. We provide reentry services, community engagement (events, surveys, Discipleship House, and Restoration House with drop-in center), and youth programming (RICH Kids after school, Bike Shop, Open Gym, I Pick Me, and Before I Self-Destruct programs).
