Luke 3:11 Ministries

Luke 3:11 Ministries is dedicated to reducing poverty in Ohio through any means possible, including but not limited to distributing no-cost laundry soap and peanut butter jelly sandwiches. In time, we hope to grow in ways that support our mission of reducing poverty in Ohio.

Lumpy Loads of Laundry was established on 2/9/19. We collect empty laundry detergent jugs and refill them with homemade detergent to distribute for free to Marion’s needy through various local organizations. We also have a mobile laundry service for our disabled neighbors. We are growing a free laundromat event program as well. The Peanut Butter Jelly Truck was established on 10/20/2019 when our family bought an antique ice cream truck to facilitate the distribution of free peanut butter jelly lunches to the Northeast quarter of Marion, Ohio. It quickly grew from a family project to an entire community working together! There are now three trucks driving all around Marion blasting Buckwheat Boyz’ Peanut Butter Jelly Time song! When someone approaches us, we hand them a free lunch! We currently serve around 600 meals weekly, and documented over 30,000 in 2022.
