The mission of the Summit County CERT program is to establish teams of volunteers who have had specialized training and are prepared to help others in their community during emergency situations; doing the greatest good for the greatest number.
Summit County CERT harnesses the power of every individual through education, training and volunteer service to make communities safer, stronger and better prepared to respond to the threat of terrorism, crime, public health issues and disasters of all kinds.
