Our RSVP volunteers are partnered with over 40 partner sites which provides opportunities that include food pantry support, hot meal distribution, providing transportation assistance to seniors, becoming a friendly visitor, mentoring our youth, supporting a senior center, fundraising for a nonprofit, serving on advisory councils, assisting with special events from holiday toy drives to donating handmade knitted items to homeless shelters. Volunteers have the benefit of serving in person or virtually, they make their own schedules based on community need, receive volunteer orientation and training prior to service, welcome gifts as well as receiving accident/liability insurance at no cost to the volunteer in case of an incident. Volunteers may also be eligible for mile reimbursement on behalf of service.
