Who We Are

In accordance with the mission of Mount Carmel, we believe that the primary goal of the Mount Carmel Hospice is to provide comprehensive, high quality care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and for their families through expert end-of-life treatment, helping to enhance the quality of their lives.

What We Do

Mount Carmel Hospice services provide expert treatment, counseling and care for patients and their families who are facing a life-limiting illness. Through careful attention to the relief of pain and discomfort, as well as the emotional and spiritual issues patients and families face, we provide end-of-life care with an understanding, private and empathetic sense that is unique to each patient and family. The Mount Carmel Hospice team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, aides, trained volunteers, and chaplains who work with the attending physician to develop a care plan that is based on patient choice, careful implementation and daily communication. Hospice Care at Home, Hospital, Nursing Home or Assisted Living Center Hospice care is most often provided in the home but can also be provided to patients who reside in assisted living centers or nursing homes.
