Who We Are

Our project will involve students from Lynchburg-Clay Local School District, Lynchburg Boy Scout troop, members of Highland County Girl Scouts, members of Lynchburg Clay FFA, and members of the local community who have gardening specialities.

What We Do

We are revitalizing the underutilized courtyard in the center of Lynchburg-Clay High School. This project includes removing a large mound of dirt and debris then replacing it with geotextile fabric, gravel, and decorative stone. We plan to install picnic tables in this area. We are removing sod and replacing it with a permanent perennial bed that will be mulched. The perimeter areas will be filled with decorative stone. The paved walkway will be cleaned.
